The original parcel shelf was very tired. It was warped, had flaking paint and a badly cut speaker hole in the middle. |

The old shelf was used as a template to cut a new shelf. The material used was 6mm plywood instead of 4mm hardboard to try and get a better quality finished part. Speaker holes were included in the new design and 2 batons were glued to the underside of the shelf to give it more strength. It was painted satin black to finish |
